SAC Working Groups are composed of SAC members and persons outside the Council. All Working Groups are chaired by a member of the Council and function under the purview of the SAC. SAC Working Group meetings are open to the public to attend.

Meeting schedules and record keeping vary from one SAC Working Group to the next, and are established by the Chairs of each group.
